It has been a while since we visited Callaway
Gardens for their Christmas celebration
known as "Fantasy In Lights."

What a great way to celebrate the wonder of Christmas as the gardens are illuminated by
millions of lights and displays. These lighting
displays are guaranteed to amaze and
delight you as the dancing lights and Christmas
music put you back in touch with the joy and
wonder you experienced as a child
enjoying the lights of Christmas.

This is the largest drive through a Christmas
lighting display in the South as it winds for
miles in the gardens of Callaway.

We will visit the gardens in the afternoon
and be treated to a step-on guided tour
as our guide explains how the displays
are set up and points out
particularly interesting things to look for
on our evening drive through.

Also included in this afternoon's tour
is a visit to the Day Butterfly Center
where more than one thousand
tropical butterflies climb, dive, dip,
and soar in an endless ritual of
reverence to the Sun.

Dinner And Breakfast are included in our package
as we are staying at Callaway Garden's
Mountain Creek Inn.

Upon departing the gardens for home, we will pay
a short visit to the
Explorations In Antiquity Center
in La Grange, Georgia.

Here we will tour the Biblical garden area and view
exhibits which offer exact reproductions of
daily life in Biblical times. From the desert oasis
to the goat hair tent to the well and
watering troughs to the
catacombs and tombs, this interesting walk
through antiquity puts you in close touch
with the lives of the people
during those days.
